Plastic Gadget Promises to Reshape Nose

Hana-tsun.jpg

Around the world, there are plenty of strange beauty contraptions that promise to make women more beautiful. Some of the most bizarre come from Japan – and the latest product is no exception. The Hana-Tsun (which translates into 'Pointy Nose') almost looks like it was designed to make customers look more ridiculous than beautiful. But does it really work?

The Hana-Tsun, made by beauty product company Glim Inc., is a plastic gadget that is worn over the nose. It clamps the sides of the nose while lifting and widening the nostrils. It promises a sculpted nose worthy of a celebrity without the cost and recover time of rhinoplasty surgery.

The box suggests wearing the device for 20 minutes a day, though it doesn't suggest how long the device must be worn to achieve the desired effect. While it promises that you can breathe, eat, and drink normally while wearing the Hana-Tsun, one reviewer at Rocket News 24 says that it was difficult to breathe or eat comfortably while wearing it. While your hands are free to type or read while wearing the Hana-Tsun, you may not want to venture into public with the bulky, white plastic contraption attached to your nose.

What do you think of this new nose-shaping contraption?
